If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: There is absolutely nothing better than coming home to a house that is already fragrant with dinner. Oh, God bless the Crock-Pot!
I made this BBQ Chicken and Cornbread dish, which is quickly becoming a favorite here at Chez Recessionista, before work this morning and set it to low before leaving the house. By the time I got home some nine hours later, the aroma of barbecue filled the air and the barbecue’s cornbread topping had puffed up to perfection. Served with a salad, it was a great dinner!
